Return, Exchange and Refund Policy

At Bakadi Furniture, we take pride in our craftsmanship and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If a piece of furniture isn’t the right fit for your home or office, we are here to help.

1. 20-Day Return Window
You have 20 calendar days from the date of delivery or collection to request a return or an exchange for standard furniture items.

2. Condition of Items for Return
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in new, showroom condition. This means:

The item must be unused, clean, and free of scratches, stains, or odors.

The item must be in its original packaging (where applicable).

A receipt or proof of purchase must be provided.

3. Damaged or Defective Items
Please inspect your furniture upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or is the incorrect product, please notify us within 48 hours.

Cost: Bakadi Furniture will cover 100% of the return and replacement costs for defective items. You will pay KES 0 for the return transport.

4. Change of Mind & Exchanges
We accept returns and exchanges if you simply change your mind or prefer a different model.

Return Shipping: For “change of mind” returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. You may return the item to our Ruiru workshop personally or schedule a pickup with our transport team for a standard fee.

Restocking Fee: We charge No Restocking Fees (KES 0) for any returned items.

Exchanges: We gladly accept exchanges. If there is a price difference between the items, it will be settled via M-Pesa at the time of the exchange.

5. Non-Returnable Items
Custom-made or bespoke furniture tailored to your specific dimensions or unique fabric requests.

Items marked as “Final Sale” at the time of purchase.

6. Refund Processing Time
Once your return is received and inspected at our workshop, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Timeline: Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days.

Method: All refunds are issued in KES via your original M-Pesa number or bank account.
