Return, Exchange and Refund Policy

At Bakadi Furniture, we take pride in our craftsmanship and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Whether you have received a defective item or have simply changed your mind, we are here to help. Our policy applies to all customers within Kenya.

1. 30-Day Return Window You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery or collection to request a return or an exchange for standard furniture items.

2. Return Methods We offer two convenient ways to return your products:

  • In-Store (Workshop Drop-off): You may return items directly to our Ruiru workshop.

  • By Mail (Scheduled Pickup): For your convenience, we provide a “return label” service via our transport team. We will coordinate a pickup from your location. This service is included and free for all returns.

3. Return Fees & Costs

  • Return Shipping: Bakadi Furniture provides Free Returns for both defective and non-defective (change of mind) products. You will pay KES 0.

  • Restocking Fee: We charge No Restocking Fees (No cost) for any returned items.

4. Product Condition for Returns To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must be in New condition. This means:

  • The item must be unused, clean, and free of scratches, stains, or odors.

  • The item must be in its original packaging (where applicable).

  • A receipt or proof of purchase must be provided.

5. Exchanges We gladly accept exchanges. If you prefer a different model or color, we will facilitate the swap. Any price difference between the items will be settled via the payment method used originally at the time of the exchange.

6. Damaged or Defective Items We accept returns for defective products. Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Bakadi Furniture covers 100% of the return and replacement costs.

7. Refund Processing Time Once your return is received and inspected at our workshop, we will process your refund.

  • Timeline: The total time for the customer to receive their refund is 5 days.

  • Method: All refunds are issued in KES via the payment method used originally (e.g., M-Pesa or Bank Account).

8. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-made or bespoke furniture tailored to specific dimensions or unique fabric requests.

  • Items explicitly marked as “Final Sale” at the time of purchase.

9. Contact Information

We are open 7 days a week to assist with deliveries and returns.
